Greetings Students, Parents, Guardians, and Teachers of Woodlawn Middle School!
It is my pleasure to return to Woodlawn Middle as the sixth grade assistant principal for the new school year.
With the start of a new academic year it is especially important for all of our incoming sixth grade students to consider the expectations for middle school. Woodlawn Middle School will continue to participate in the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support program (PBIS), a school-wide program that fosters positive behaviors in our students. The PBIS program is built around the Woodlawn Middle School Code of Conduct. PBIS provides the framework for educators to teach behaviors consistent with the Code of Conduct, reward students who follow its principles, and consistently apply corrective consequences for those who do not.
At Woodlawn Middle School, we follow the Code of Conduct and are…
I encourage you to take a moment to discuss these expectations with your children because as we know positive behavior is the first step towards student achievement.
Please call me at 410-887-1304 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if I can be of assistance throughout the year. Also, please check the website periodically, it provides important information and news about Woodlawn Middle School.
I look forward to working with you.
