Uniform

 

All Woodlawn Middle School students are required to wear grade-level colored uniform polo shirts and khaki bottoms. Khaki bottoms must be knee-length or longer and may not be shredded or ripped.  Students may not wear jeans, leggings, or jeggings.  Hooded sweatshirts or hooded sweaters are not allowed. Sweaters must be solid and match the grade-level color. The grade level colors for polo shirts and sweaters are:

 

Grade 6 – Burgundy                                     Grade 7 – Black                         Grade 8 – Heather Gray

         1-inch binder (Social Studies)

 

         Pack of Colored Pencils

 

         Pencil Pouch (to be placed in binder)

         1 pack 3x3 post-it notes (Language Arts)

         Pack of Highlighters

 

         Three Ring Filler Paper (Wide Ruled)

 

         Headphones/Earbuds

 

         10 – 2 pocket folders with holes

         Glue stick

         Ruler

 

 


Physical Education

 

 

Students are required to be in uniform during physical education. The Woodlawn Middle School Physical Education Uniform consists of black mesh shorts and a solid red shirt.  The preferred uniform has a Woodlawn Middle School logo and can be purchased at Woodlawn Middle School; shirts and shorts are $10 each.  These uniforms can be purchased from the PE teacher or parents may pay online.  Online payments can be submitted by visiting http://woodlawnms.bcps.org/. No checks will be accepted.  

 

Important Notes:

 

  • Parents/Guardians please remember that supplies may need to be replenished throughout the school year.

     

     

  • Permanent markers/sharpies and scissors are prohibited at Woodlawn Middle School.

  • Cell phones are not a required school supply.  If your student must bring a cell phone with them, they do so at their own risk. Lockers are the safest place for cell phones at school. If you need to reach your student during the school day, please call the main office.
